Active Members serve a three (3) year term and are nominated by the Nominating Committee. Each member is eligible to serve for two (2) terms as an Active Member, and then two (2) terms as an Associate Member. Attendance at monthly Board Meetings Sept – May is a requirement of Active Membership. There are optional meetings during the summer for those who are in town. In addition, Active Members serve on at least one (1) committee and are asked to participate in scheduled retreats. Active Members are asked to make an annual contribution to the School of Dance, support and attend as many School of Dance events as possible, and volunteer as needed.
