CFA Net Wireless

There are two steps to using CFA Net in the Art and Drama building for internet access: register your computer with the campus network and configure your computer to connect to CFA Net.

To connect your peronally-owned computer to CFA Net, follow the steps below. Faculty and staff, please contact Fine Arts Tech Services to connect computers owned by the University to CFA Net.

DHCP

Register the computer's wireless MAC Address (Machine Access Control, also known as the Hardware Address) with the campus network.

  • Instructions for finding your wireless MAC address developed by the Columbia University Medical Center.
  • Once you have found your MAC address, register it at http://dhcp.arizona.edu/. The registration will become active within approximately 30 minutes after submitting the form.

CFA Net

Connect your computer to CFA Net.

  • CFA Net requires a wireless card capable of WPA or WPA2 encryption.
  • The current WPA password is cfawireless.
