During the THS April meeting there will be a presentation on the Mexican Tortoise Project. In addition, the THS will hold a special auction to raise money for this ambitious project. We have received a very generous donation of over 40 books from the library of Dr. Thomas Van Devender, including the titles below. Dr. Van Devender is one of the foremost experts of the flora and fauna of Sonora, Mexico and is the editor of The Sonoran Desert Tortoise: Natural History, Biology, and Conservation. The THS is extremely thankful to Dr. Van Devender for his gracious gift.
