The Jarchow Conservation Award

The Tucson Herpetological Society established the Jarchow Conservation Award (JCA) in July 1992 to honor individuals or organizations for their service to the conservation of the amphibians and reptiles of the deserts of North America.

The Mexican Tortoise Project

The Tucson Herpetological Society is a Partner in Investigating the Desert Tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) in Mexico to aid in Conservation and Management of the Species.
