My interest in functional art is inspired by the idea that, as humans, we create for ourselves environments that reflect our inner dreams and passions. The objects within these environments affect our mood, actions and thought patterns. Through this medium I am faced with the challenge of bridging the gap between artistic expression and the ideals of functionalism.
