This project, conceived by Carol Flax, Dept of Art, University of Arizona, brought together students from the Lunar and Planetary Lab, the Department of Art and the School of Music to work on projects around the concept of the planet Mars. Mentor teams comprised of Flax, Peter Smith from the Lunar and Planetary Lab and Norm Weinberg from the School of Music worked with students. Lucy Petrovich in the Peter Treistman Fine Arts Center for New Media provided technical support. These projects are the results of this collaboration. The final projects were displayed at a one day event at the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona.
