The Purple Bamboo Ensemble is the performing group of the UA Asian Music Club. The ensemble primarily performs in the tradition of Chinese music, playing Chinese traditional instruments and singing songs in Mandarin and Cantonise. The members of the group are University of Arizona students and members of the Tucson community.
The club is open to all UA students and community members interested in Chinese music and culture.
Spring 2012 Rehearsals: Thursday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in room 106 of the UA School of Music Building.
