Student Reference Sheet

Student’s VIP Reference Sheet!

Students are responsible for knowing university dates and deadlines: the last date to register for classes, payment deadline, refund deadline, withdrawal deadline, etc. Please see Spring 2009 Dates and Deadlines

March 10, 2009 is the last day to drop a class with a grade of “W” (if passing). Any drops after this date require a Late Change Petition (located in Music 111) and an extenuating circumstance, such as death of an immediate family member or serious personal illness. Documentation is REQUIRED. The “I didn’t know, nobody told me, or I forgot,” is not an extenuating circumstance.

Students are also responsible for knowing university and college policies: General Petition and change of schedule procedures.

Students are responsible for making sure that they are registered for the appropriate classes and section numbers. Please check your schedule on Student Link as soon as you register and throughout the semester. Failure to do this may result in an “E” grade for a class that you may have inadvertently registered for and instructors are not required to administratively drop students! Please carefully read your syllabus regarding class attendance policies.
