Areas of Study

The School of Theatre Arts at the University of Arizona offers a comprehensive array of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Fine Arts degrees.  The school is divided into three divisions.  Each division offers specialized degree options. The Acting and Musical Theatre Division oversees the BFA degrees in acting and musical theatre.

The Design and Technology Division oversees the BFA and MFA degrees in Scenery, Costume and Lighting Design as well as BFA and MFA degrees in Costume Production, Entertainment Technology and Technical Direction.

The Theatre Studies Division oversees the BFA in Dramaturgy, the BA in Theatre Studies, the BA in Theatre Education, and the Theatre Arts Minor.
