How to Apply - Current UA Students
We're delighted you want to apply for admission to the School of Theatre Arts!

Procedures for students wishing to declare a major in the School of Theatre Arts
- BA Theatre Arts
- BFA Theatre Education - Teacher Certification BFA Theatre Education - Outreach
- BFA Theatre Production - Design and Technology
- BFA Theatre Production - Theatre History and Dramaturgy
(Students wishing to declare the BFA Musical Theatre or the BFA Acting degree must audition next Spring for entry into the major the following Fall semester.)
Procedures:
- Complete the Theatre Arts application and all accompanying materials specific to the degree program you would like to declare. See the Theatre website for specific requirements (http://www.cfa.arizona.edu/theatre/index.php/admissions).
- Once fall classes have begun, sign up (in person at Drama 239) for the Theatre major information session to be held on Friday. January 23. 2009 1:00-2:00 pm.
- Attendance at the Theatre major information session on January 23th is MANDATORY. Students not attending the session will not be admitted to the Theatre major for the spring semester.
- Deadline for completed application materials is Wednesday, February 25, 2009. You must turn in all materials to Drama 239. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. (See above website to confirm that you are submitting all required materials.)
- Applications will be reviewed and admission decisions made by March 13, 2009. Students will be informed of their admission status in May.
