Thank you to families that joined us at Continuum–the art event to inaugurate the School of Art’s Graduate Research Laboratories! Students in the Division of Art and Visual Culture Education worked children ages 5-10 in workshops: Art from Trash? Yes, we can! and Creating Spaces. The workshops emphasized making with contemporary art processes. More information about the event’s multiple festivities is available here.

A special thank you to Magpie’s Gourment Pizza on 4th Avenue & 5th Street for a percentage day on February 18th. Ten percent of our pizza orders (Magpie’s has been voted Tucson’s best pizza for twenty years!) went to support this essential non-profit art program for children in Tucson. A win, win!
