The Big Idea of Wildcat Art 2008 is
"Skew Your View: Magnificent Classes Through Art-Colored Glasses!"

Our mission this year is to prompt students to change their views
about artistic standards and societal norms. This is an opportunity
for them to learn about themselves while also learning about the
world we inhabit. By multiplying our perspectives and abilities, it
allows us to develop artistically and our vision to grow. With an
intermix between traditional and alternative materials the Wildcat
Art family will be changing our view of what can be art and what it
means to us.

Wildcat Art is a Saturday morning art program for students in grades 1-12. Classes are taught by undergraduate and graduate students in the University of Arizona Art Education Department. Every year Wildcat Art staff strive to enrich and stregthen the students experiences with art. At the end of each program, The University of Arizona hosts an exhibition at the Student Union Gallery of the students work for family and friends to enjoy. Scholarships are available, please contact us for further information.
